A methodology has been developed for the rapid identification of food adulterations
The rapid identification of food counterfeits has been operating at Halker Kft. since January, the methodology was developed by a consortium led by the company as part of a 1.46 billion HUF project with 912.8 million HUF EU support.
Economic Director Tukarcs János spoke about food counterfeiting being a serious problem across Europe, with fraud estimated at 7-50 billion euros a year.
He pointed out that Halker Kft., a Hungarian family business engaged in food trade, production and processing, founded 30 years ago, also considers it essential that the food it buys and sells be reliable. (MTI)
