Tesco introduces electronic shelf labels
Tesco Budaörs will introduce automatically updated shelf labels from 15 August. About 44 thousand shelf labels will be replaced in Budaörs.
With this, Tesco will take place among the chain of stores, which use the new electronic labeling system. The most important advantage is that the price match will be fully implemented. Tesco started to test electronic shelf labels in two of its supermarkets, in Százhalombatta and Várpalota. The electronic tags will be installed night time, not to disturb the customers on the 15 thousand square meters of Tesco Budaörs.
