Tesco and Shell are establishing electric car charging points

The two companies are each other’s strategic partners
In the name of sustainability, Tesco also undertook to achieve net zero emissions in its own operations by 2035, and in the value chain as a whole by 2050. In the first phase of the partnership, existing charging points installed by Tesco will become part of the Shell Recharge network, and Shell will install additional charging points, totaling more than 100 Tesco locations, over the next three years.
A combination of 22 kW and 50 kW fast charging points are expected to be installed in Tesco car parks, allowing customers to conveniently charge their electric vehicles while shopping. All charging points will be supplied with 100% renewable electricity.
