Iceland rebrands 51 Woolworths Stores
The frozen food chain has bought 51 of the 800 stores from the now defunct Woolworths group. Iceland will be creating in the region of 2,500 jobs across UK.
The acquisition comes some four months
after Iceland and owner Baugur, then Woolworths' largest shareholder,
had its £50m takeover approach rejected.
