The Tiszajenő medicinal water may dry up
Tiszajenő is known for its famous medicinal water, Mira water, which is used in drinking cures due to its positive health effects. This water is rich in mineral salts such as sodium sulfate and magnesium sulfate and has mild laxative and bowel cleansing properties. However, it is now in danger, and there are several reasons for this.
The number of workers at the local bottling plant has been significantly reduced recently and bottling has been moved to another plant. This is partly due to the low demand for Mira products. The medical water distribution company claims that they left only as many employees in Tiszajenő as are necessary for water extraction and transport.
In addition, the supply of medicinal water is also threatened by the lack of rainfall. Mira water is obtained from a depth of just a few meters, and the mineral salts that dissolve from the clay soil give it its healing properties. If there is no rain, the stock also runs out, which is unfortunately being experienced in the area now – reports haszon.hu.
