Three Electro World subsidiaries to sell in CEE
Britain's DSG international plc is to sell 33 stores in the Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland.
According
to the information of Business Daily Világgazdaság, the
EW units in the Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland managed to reduce
their GBP 9.3 million operating loss in 2006/2007 to GBP 6.8 m in
2007/2008, but there was no sign of a breakthrough. The inventories
are out of date and EW could not keep up with the (low) prices
hypermarkets offered their electrical goods at.
