Lidl chain with 260 units in Poland is looking for buyer
Polish daily Rzeczpospolita reported, citing unnamed sources, that Schwarz is seeking a buyer for its Lidl stores in Poland, which are potentially worth around 250 million euros.
The Polish paper also cited a source close to the transaction as
saying that potential buyers for the stores include Lidl's main
German competitor Aldi and French retailer Auchan, both of which have
begun to build discount networks in Poland.Lidl had a turnover of
z³.7,500 per sqm annually.
