EKÁER: the MLSZKSZ requires a further two months grace period
The Association of the Hungarian Logistics Service Centers (MLSZKSZ) and the Hungarian Freighting and Logistics Service Providers Association (MSZSZ) summarized the practical experiences of the road freight electronic control system (EKÁER) and submitted changes to the Ministry of National Economy (NGM).
According to the opinion of the logistics profession, the EKÁER in its current state is not yet capable for real operation, because the legal terms are not clear, and there are still many unresolved technical issues and operational uncertainties. Without adequate testing period, it cannot be seen how the EKÁER will meet the goals of the government.
