The National Handball Academy and Graboplast cooperate in the development of sports floors
An agreement was concluded between Graboplast and the National Handball Academy. The cooperation in sports science enables NEKA to increase the resources necessary for high-quality professional training, and for the Hungarian company, the Academy’s experience gained in intense competitive situations becomes available for the development of Grabo sports floors.
Graboplast, which is considered to be the third largest player globally in the field of sports floors, has signed an agreement to support the National Handball Academy (NEKA), which is considered the outstanding base of Hungarian handball training. The cooperation enables NEKA to increase the resources necessary for high-quality professional training, while Graboplast intends to use the data on sports floors of different types and properties measured by sports science methods, jointly evaluated with NEKA, for development purposes. The nearly 120-year-old Graboplast has been producing sports floors and handball court coverings for decades, and handball teams play on the company’s courts in more than 100 locations in many countries around the world, including Austria, Canada and Dubai. At home, domestically developed sports floors can be found in well-known sports halls, such as the facilities in Győr, Felscút, Szombathely or even the Old Veszprém Arena.
