European Commission calls for cooperation against VAT fraud
The European Commission calls for closer cooperation with countries outside the EU, in order to curb VAT fraud, so the European Commission turned to the Member States for authorization on Thursday, to start negotiations with the Russia and Norway in the topic.
According to the communication of the the Brussels-based body, this is part of the anti-tax evasion action of the committee and intended to sign such mutual co-operation agreements with Moscow and Oslo, which would led to curb cross-border VAT fraud, and all the concerned countries would have access to their tax revenues.
