A cooperation agreement has been concluded between the Savings Bank and FruitVeb
The Savings Bank and the Hungarian Fruit and Vegetable Interprofessional Organization and Product Board (FruitVeB) have signed a cooperation agreement at the AgroMash Expo, not only on exchanging information and experience, but also on consulting, training and market forecasting to help improving the efficiency of the fruit and vegetable sector – the two organizations told MTI on Thursday.
According to the information, the strategic agreement now concluded is now the sixth in the Takarékbank’s agricultural cooperation, and one of the most important, as another key sector is expanding agricultural partner organizations besides crop and livestock farmers. Vida József, President and CEO of the Savings Bank emphasized in the communication that EU subsidies in the sector are typically lower than the average for agriculture, so they need much more involvement in banking. It is important for Takarékbank, with its increasing market share in agricultural financing, to be able to support the Hungarian fruit and vegetable sector, as Hungary has excellent potential for cultivation – Vida József added.
