The agricultural chambers of the Visegrád countries want a simpler common agricultural policy
At the serial meeting of the Agrarian Chambers of the Visegrád Countries, the leaders of the organizations, made clear requests again on the reform of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) after 2020. According to experts, the agri-food sector needs a stronger, fairer and simpler CAP.
On June 18-19, 2019, the 72th Meeting of the Chambers of Agriculture of the Visegrád Countries (V4) was held in Modra, Slovakia.
At the meeting, the representatives of the Slovak Chamber of Agriculture and Food Industry (SPPK), the National Council of Agricultural Chambers of Poland (KRIR), the Hungarian National Agricultural Chamber (NAK) and the Agricultural Chamber of the Czech Republic (AKČR) discussed, inter alia, the current market situation of the apple market; on the operation of apple and African swine fever working groups, as well as on market issues for some agricultural products.
