We are looking for promotions more and more consciously
Price reductions and promotions are of highlighted importance these days, especially in the case of basic food products – reveals Shopping Monitor 2009/2010, a study by GfK Hungária. It also shows that consumer behaviour is increasingly conscious. Our favourite places for buying food are hypermarkets and small self-service shops. However, supermarkets are coming up as one fifth of consumers go there first to do shopping, making this channel the third most important. Shoppers are most interested in the promotions campaigns of basic food products, together with milk/dairy products, meat/meat products, fresh vegetables, fruits and household chemicals.
