More and more people buy in separate shops
GfK Hungária conducted its annual nationwide survey on shopping malls. One third of the survey’s participants go to a shopping mall at least once a week and 31 percent visit them every 2-3 months or less frequently. The 15-34 age group, those with higher-education degrees, people with high income, the upper 4 percent of society, ‘hedonistic youth’ (they represent 17 percent of society and for them shopping malls are often meeting and socialising places as well) and those who really like shopping malls located in the city centre go there the most often. Malls in the suburbs are frequented by active workers, especially by commuters.
