More and more grain is stored due to the low prices
Due to the persistently low cereal prices, the growers do not want to sell, this is why the storage time and inventories are increasing steadily – agrarszektor.hu wrote. Farmers can be prepared with stock selection and well-functioning storage technology against inventory accumulation.
Because of the permanently low grain prices, farmers tend to become stockpiling instead of selling, Tresó István, Head of Department of K&H said at the latest event of the Agro Club organized by K&H and the Agrár Európa Kft. Due to the significant inventory accumulation caused by the changed market situation, producers must, on the one hand, select the right genetics to take the increased storage time prior to sowing into account and to have sufficient capacity and technology to maintain the quality and content of the cereal.
