The number of Asian tourists is growing in Romania
The number of guest nights spent by tourists increased by almost 16 percent in 2015 in Romania over the previous year – the Romanian national statistical institute announced on Wednesday.
Last year, the number of overnight stays amounted to 23.445 million, which is a 15.9 percent increase of which 81 percent is the share of the Romanian tourists, the other 19 percent is the share of foreign tourists. The Romanian tourists spent an average of 2.5 nights in the hotels, while the foreign tourists spent an average of 2 nights. (MTI)
