There are more and more patents associated with female inventors
Internationally, the gender gap in the proportion of patent applications is narrowing, and according to the data of the National Office of Intellectual Property (SZTNH), the Hungarian results are also future-proof – origo wrote. According to the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), in 2000, 9 percent of international patent applications could be tied to a female inventor, while by 2020, that proportion had risen to 16.5 percent.
It is a proven fact that encouraging the employment of women in innovation and intellectual property has many benefits. Examining women’s patent participation, it is clear that women specialize in certain areas. (origo)
