More high-quality plant-based private label products
According to PLMA, European private label sales will reach a record EUR 340bn in 2023.

V-Label says this is partly due to the development of vegan, organic and free-from products. Private label sales accounted for 54% of total market growth last year and now represent 38.5% of the value of the food market. Private label sales were up 13% in 2023, more than double the sales growth of manufacturer brands. V-Label claims private label products are a key driver of consumer loyalty, with over 54% of shoppers in more than ten EU countries saying they regularly visit stores that offer high-quality private label products. //
