More digital information in the agri-food sector too
On 12 February the Hungarian Chamber of Agriculture (NAK) hosted a conference at Szent István University in Gödöllő, titled ‘Digital Information Services and Technological Development’. Experts talked about 5G, IoT, blockchain technologies, GPS technology and drone use in agriculture. A panel discussion followed the presentations, where NAK president Balázs Győrffy stressed that one of the chamber’s main goals is to promote the utilisation of innovative new technologies in farming. In his view the digitalisation of agriculture can increase profitability and competitiveness, at the same time reducing production risks.
