Germany is an increasingly popular tourist destination; the number of guest night spent by domestic and foreign tourists has increased significantly in the first half of this year -according to a report from the Federal Bureau of Statistics (Destatis).

In the first six months of the year, 222.4 million guest nights spent at commercial accommodation establishments were recorded, which is an increase of 3.8 percent, compared to a year before. (MTI)
