Romania is becoming more and more popular

In the first three quarters of the year, the number of tourists in Romania increased by 11 percent at commercial accommodations, compared to the same period of last year – the Romanian national statistical institute announced on Wednesday.

In the period from January to September 8.557 million tourists visited the commercial accommodations.
More than three quarters of the tourists were Romanian, the proportion of foreigners was around 23 percent. The number of foreign tourists was 1,930 million, which is a more than 10 percent increase. (MTI)
