Gin festivals are getting bigger and bigger

Gin is not only one of the most popular drinks and long drinks in the capital, but also the main character of one of the largest gin festivals. This year, Gin Market will be transformed into a cultural and gastronomic festival at its new location, the Budapest Garden, and will be offering 100 types of gin and 20 types of rum between June 13-14.

One of Hungary’s most popular gin festivals, in line with the latest trends, will also be preparing an unusually wide range of non-alcoholic drinks. According to the organizers, more and more people are looking for non-alcoholic drinks and cocktails every year. Whether it is for driving, a conscious lifestyle or health reasons, the festival ensures that guests can enjoy the event without compromise and feel free to try several different drinks.

“Fortunately, more and more international manufacturers have recognized that there is a market for alcohol-free versions. In addition to drivers, athletes, and expectant mothers, many people simply choose alcohol-free drinks for lifestyle reasons, and it is also a very popular trend among the twenty-something generation. Thanks to the expanding market, there are continuous developments and experimentation in terms of flavors. A domestically made 0.0 percent gin will also debut at the festival, so those who are open to this novelty can taste more than a dozen “gins”. The wide selection also allows us to make most cocktails in a non-alcoholic version,”

In addition to the non-alcoholic options, the festival does not lie: several, nearly 100 types of gin and cocktail variations made from them await drink fans. In addition, the festival’s guest spirit is rum, which, in addition to the ever-popular gin, has become an increasingly popular favorite in recent years. At the rum stands, lovers of spicy, sweet and mature characters can taste 20 special variations.
