Consumer prices are climbing higher and higher
In March, consumer prices were on average 3.7 percent higher than a year before – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced.
Analysts expected 3.5 percent after February’s 3.1 percent. Excluding the 3.8 percent inflation figure of last October, consumer prices have not increased to such an extent since January 2013 in one year.
In one month, consumer prices rose 0.7 percent after the 0.3 percent of January and the 0.6 percent of February. (MTI)
