According to the analysis of the BDO Magyarország consulting firm, the community property capacity doubled in Budapest between 2010 and 2015, while on the surface of Airbnb guest traffic increased approximately to six-fold, while the hotel demand increased by only 40 percent.
In the analysis sent to MTI on Thursday it is highlighted that 2.2 million overnight stays were registered in the community accommodations in Budapest last year, while in hotels almost 8 million.
