Tax audits are becoming more effective thanks to the ekáer
The tax inspectors are increasingly effective against illegal trade, thanks to electronic goods traffic control system (ekáer), which is a “heavy weapon” of the tax administration, but many entrepreneurs are not aware of all the rules – Falcsik István, Customs and Excise Advisory Head of Department of the RSM Hungary.
According to the expert, the National Taxation and Customs Administration (NAV) has never worked with such an IT analysis system that can efficiently render data verification to tax audits.
The ekáer data reporting can be the basis of excise control and fines – he warns. (MTI)
