The cultivation of Hungarian vegetable gardens is a dynamically spreading movement. Within three years, the number of vegetable gardens competing at the most beautiful vegetable gardens competition increased to 230 and 2000 entries have arrived.

Szakáli István Loránd Deputy Minister of State of the Ministry of Agriculture (FM), responsile for Agricultural Development and Hungaricums told on Friday in Budapest at the most beautiful vegetable gardens competition’s evaluation event emphasized that the program is a success story, as the gardeners of the gardens, kitchen gardens create value. Many people have not thought of before, that the garden is not only for decoration, but it can also used for production. (MTI)
