One million holiday vouchers in the first six months of 2009
In the first half of the year employers purchased holiday vouchers for 33 billion HUF and one million people received them – stated Kiss Péter Minister of Social Policy on a press conference in Budapest.
Compared to the 27 billion vouchers of the first half of last year, this year 33 billion holiday vouchers had been purchased. According to government calculations 2 million people will receive holiday vouchers until the end of the year with an amount of 50 billion HUF.
Kiss Péter added that now 12 thousand home provider receives holiday vouchers which has a significant impact on employment because four-five thousand people is needed to operate the network – reports baon.hu, after MTI.
