One billion VAT cheat disguised with cereal trade activity
According to APEH press executive; a VAT cheat excessing one billion HUF has been uncovered by the auditors of the Southern Great Plains Regional Board of APEH.
The investigation found that seven companies in 2006 and in 2007 issued invoices of 53 thousand tonnes of grain and fodder, while the sale between the companies did not actually happen. The companies did not have the necessary human and material terms for grain production, storage and documents referring to the wholesale of agricultural products were not found in their files.
The investigation showed 1.094 billion tax shortage at the companies. Prosecution is initiated by the tax authorities – reports MTI.
