Sz. Variáns, which produces packaging materials, would increase its capacity with an investment of HUF one billion
Sz. Variáns Csomagolástechnikai Kft., which deals in the production of paper-based packaging materials, plans to implement investments worth HUF one billion over the next five years. The developments would increase the company’s capacities and further improve the quality of their products.
According to the information of managing owner János Szakál, they would acquire the necessary equipment for production in three stages, for about 720 million forints, and another 300 million forints would be spent on the development and expansion of their premises in Debrecen.
About 80 percent of the sales revenue of Sz. Variáns Kft., founded in 1994, comes from the packaging of retail products, rigid boxes and packaging for marketing purposes. They deliver to the entire industry, including the confectionery industry, the porcelain industry and the electronics industry. In order to increase capacity, efficiency, and product range, new machines worth HUF 720 million were purchased in recent years with 50 percent EU and Hungarian tender support.
