Uber buys Drizly for one billion dollars
Uber Technologies has acquired Drizly, a Boston-based on-demand drinks delivery company. Drizly cooperates with thousands of local retailers in more than 1,400 US cities to provide consumers with an on-demand selection of beer, wine and spirits. Drizly’s marketplace will be featured within the Uber Eats app, while also running its own Drizly app and website.
