Arla Foods to buy Egyptian dairy company
Arla Foods has made an acquisition offer for Egypt’s Arabian Food Industries Company (Domty), with a price per share of EGP 31.48, representing a total consideration of EGP 8.897m (EUR 168.22m) for 100% of the shares. Domty employs around 4,000 people and it is a leading player in the local milk and dairy product market, with two production plants in the country.
