As the only Hungarian red wine, Vili Papa won gold at the world’s most prestigious wine competition

The Decanter World Wine Awards (DWWA) is the world’s largest and most prestigious wine competition, accompanied by unparalleled global interest. Therefore, it is a particularly remarkable result that in 2022, the Thummerer Pincészet Egri Vili Papa Cuvée Superior 2018 became the only red wine with a gold medal among the red lots nominated from Hungary.
