The bird theater in Hortobágy will be a unique eco-tourism attraction
According to the State Secretary of the Prime Minister’s Office responsible for active Hungary, the bird theater in Hortobágy will be an ecotourism attraction that is unique not only in our country, but also in Europe, but other regions of the world may also be interested in it.
Máriusz Révész said at the signing of the consortium contract for the project on Friday at the visitor center of the Hortobágy National Park (HNP) that the country’s first bird theater will be realized based on the ideas of the world-famous nature photographer Máté Bence, and will enable a unique presentation of the birds and animals of the Hortobágy fish ponds.
The state secretary indicated that HUF 65 billion in tender resources are available for active ecotourism developments.
Máriusz Révész spoke with appreciation about the Hajdú-Bihar municipality, which uses the tendered HUF 4.3 billion for the realization of a large investment, the bird theater, instead of many small facilities within the framework of the Regional and Settlement Development Operative Program Plusz (TOP Plusz).
