International portugieser contest and wine tasting in Pécs for the fourth time
International portugieser contest and wine tasting will be held in Pécs on 1 and 2 April. The wine cellars can enter their wines into the competition by 20 March.
The Portugieser du Monde contest – supported by the local government of Pécs – focuses on the portugieser wine type – Győrffy Zoltán, main organizer informed MTI. As he highlighted, most people believe that the portugieser is only a fresh wine, although the kind is capable for more: in stainless steel tanks or matured in oak barrels as late harvest or as a blending base wine.
