Half of the costs can be saved with a webshop
Those webshops may lose up to half of their customers, that do not introduce credit card or other online payment options, as the customers tend to buy in webstores that have online payment systems – shows the survey of PayU online payment service. In addition, 80 percent of the buyers turn back when they visit an unknown page, and and would rather not buy.
While the traditional retail trade stagnated steadily during the crisis, but rather decreased, the turnover of e-commerce increased by 15 – 20 percent annually since 2008, and in 2012 almost reached 200 billion HUF. Approximately 4 thousand webshops can be found in Hungary. The vast majority of them are small and medium-sized business sector related – shows the survey of PayU on online payment.
