A bakery in Vác was closed by Nébih
Due to serious food safety deficiencies and hygiene problems, the activities of a bakery and confectionary factory operating in Vác, Pest county, have been suspended – the National Food Chain Safety Office (Nébih) informed MTI on Wednesday.
During the inspection, among other things, about one ton of untraceable and expired food was withdrawn from circulation, and products that had expired for several years were also found.
It was reported: the bakery in Vác was untidy and untidy, the walls, ceiling and floors of the rooms were dirty. Many items unrelated to their activities were also stored in the unit. The inspection was also made more difficult by the fact that the lighting was not working in several rooms of the plant. In the cold room, the finished and semi-finished unpackaged products were stored together with the ground goods. The refrigerated worktops in the kneading room were heavily soiled inside and out, the equipment was dirty, and the rolling cake storage shelves in the ice cream kitchen were dirty and rusty. The faucet of the hand washing machine in the vegetable preparation hall was broken, and there were cigarette butts on the floor of the hall.
