More than 8,800 applications were received for the development of private and other accommodation with a budget of 60 billion HUF. The tender started on Thursday – Horváth Péter, CEO of Kisfaludy 2030 Tourism Development Nonprofit Ltd. said at a press conference on Friday in Esztergom.

The received applications require support worth 27 billion HUF for the renovation of nearly 28,000 rooms.

Horváth Péter said that for the renovation of private accommodation with up to 8 rooms in the rural area, a maximum of 1 million HUF per room could be won in the tender construction launched on Thursday. (MTI)
