A small company would revolutionize the world of electronic payments
The founder of the Dwolla American mikro company has a huge goal: he would transform the world of electronic payments by requesting only a low base rate for financial transactions.
Ben Hilne, the founder of the Iowa-based company, has developed the new business concept on the basis of his own previous business experiences. As an employee, Hilne faced the fact that they paid an annual 55 thousand USD to the credit card companies on a corporate level. MasterCard, Visa, and even Internet companies, like PayPal and Square uses two entry fee applies for payments: one percent transaction fee and a fixed price.
This ranges from 2 to 3.5 percent plus 15-30 cents lump sum. The Dwolla does not apply etransaction based fee, only 25 cent payment price has to be paid – reportsVilágazdaság Online.
