Bread prices may increase within 1-2 weeks
From the middle of this month, bread may be more expensive, at several stores. The price negotiations are now underway between the bakery businesses, the retail stores and the supermarket chains – reports MTI.
According to Werli József, Secretary-General of the Hungarian Bakery Association; the price increase will occur, because of the price increase of grain and because of the drastic price increase of flour, as well as energy and transportation cost increases. According to the Secretary-General; transfer price of one kilogram of white bread, between the bakeries and retail is around 160-190 HUF – reports ProfitLine.hu.
