Hungarian meat exports to Russia get a green light after one year
The Russian veterinary and phytosanitary supervision lifted the temporary export restrictions affecting four Hungarian meat processing companies.
Gilyán György, Hungarian Ambassador in Moscow has already received a promise earlier that exports to be authorized soon, after almost a year of restriction.
The ambassador has informed MTI that the reason for the restriction was that toxic substances were found in the products of the companies which were lower than the European but higher than the Russian health limit. The Hungarian companies since have taken steps to rectify this – report MTI, after Interfax.
