Within a year mobile data traffic grew by 60 percent globally

In one year – between the second quarter of 2013 and second quarter of 2014, the the global mobile data traffic rose by 60 percent – Ericsson’s Mobility Report revealed.

The number of mobile subscriptions was approximately 6.8 billion at the end of June this year, however, the actual number of subscribers is around 4.6 billion, since many have several subscriptions as well. The number of mobile broadband subscriptions has exceeded 2.4 billion. (MTI)
