Real wages decreased by 4.7%
Average gross and net earnings by national concept rose by 8.3% and by 2.9% respectively compared to the same period of the previous year.
2 million 765 thousand persons were employed by enterprises employing at least 5 persons and by budgetary and social institutions, as well as assigned non-profit organizations in January–November 2007. 1 million 935 thousand people worked in the enterprise sector and 752 thousand persons were employed in the budgetary one. Average gross nominal wages of full-time employees amounted to HUF 182 700 in January–November 2007.
In budgetary institutions average gross wages increased by 6.3% in January–November 2007 while they rose by 9.7% in enterprises. Average gross monthly earnings according to SNA concept was 192 800 HUF and rose by 8.5% in January–November 2007.
