5.1 percent price increase in one year
According to the datas of KSH, the one month's average consumer price increase was 1.3 percent in July 2009. Compared to July 2008 the prices increased by 5.1 percent, if we base on the seven-month increase in prices by 3.6 percent.
Average price increase has been occured in the cases of services (6.0 percent). Rubbish transportation increased by 14.1 percent, the local public transport by 11.5, common costs by 10.1 percent. The price increase of durable goods (4.7 percent), and the price increase of other articles (1.3 percent) were below the average price. The price of fuel decreased by 9.3 percent, the price of medicine and druggist products increased by 5.9 percent – reports Central Statistical Office.
