Hungary's industrial producer price rose by 1.6% year on year
According to the Central Statistics Office (KSH) domestic price inflation came in at 6.2% yr/yr, export index fall 4,8%.
Producer prices in the manufacturing industry edged up 0.4% m/m and 1.1% yr/yr in Dec, against a respective +0.8% and -0.3% in Nov. Export sales prices in Dec fell by 2.1% yr/yr against a fall of 3.6% in the previous month and +1.1% in Dec 2006. In monthly terms the KSH detected a 0.2% rise, following a 0.2% increase in Nov and -1.4% m/m in Dec 2006. Food price inflation came to 0.8% m/m (vs. 2% in Nov) and 11.9% yr/yr (vs. +10.7% in Nov).
