An average Hungarian consumer produces 85 kilograms of waste paper per year
In Hungary, the”paper footprint” is approximately 85 kilograms, ie we use 85 kilograms of paper every year. A significant part of this comes from the amount of packaging from daily consuming.
Only the Auchan supermarket chain in Hungary sells 40-50 million products packed in beverage carton packagings; therefore the Auchan and the manufacturer Tetra Pak considered highly important that the raw wood packagings to come from responsible sources. The Tetra Pak and the Auchan Magyarország Kft. launches an environmentally conscious decision game series on 5 September to to raise public awareness on the FSC logo on the packaging and the meaning of the logo. The campaign lasts for a month.
