Merlot has become the best 2012 vintage red wine in Szekszárd
The Takler Winery’s 2012 vintage Merlot was elected as the best red wine of the Szekszárd wine region’s competition on Thursday.
The wine called Primarius was grown from grapes of the best vineyards of Szekszárd – in Görögszó, Strázsahegy and in the Porkolábvölgy in an exceptionally warm year; the wine was aged in French barrels for 16 months before bottling – Takler András, executive director of the Takler Pince Kft. told MTI.
