Star of Eger: A new brand in the Eger wine region

The Bull's Blood (Egri Bikavér) is one of the best-known brand name: As one hear the name of the the bulky spicy red cuvée wine, it reminds everyone to Gárdonyi, Dobó or the castle.

Now the Bull's Blood (Egri Bikavér) got a new companion. Young winemakers had the idea last February in the cellar of Gál Tibor: why they can not find a white pair of the famous drink? As a first step; the wine community of the Eger Wine Region advertised a name giving tender, where among 3149 names the Star of Eger (Egri csillag) name was chosen – reports Népszabadság Online.
