Healthy Checkouts in Lidl stores
Lidl was the first in Hungary to introduce Healthy Checkouts in their stores. Zoltán Nepp, Lidl Hungary’s purchasing director told our magazine that their goal with the initiative is to make the diet of Hungarian families healthier. Sweets were removed from stores’ checkout zones and replaced with healthier products, which contain 30 percent fewer calories, 51 percent less carbohydrate and 40 percent less fat.
