Effie 2010: Competition of effective adverts

The Hungarian Section of the Advertising World Federation and the Association of Hungarian Communications Agencies organized the effective advertising competition the EFFIE for the ninth time in 2010.

Tender could be submitted in the following 10 categories by a client or an agency: consumer durables, food, beverages, other non-durable consumer goods, services, financial services, telecommunication services, cultural services, social marketing communications and image.
Among the 45 finalists, 26 won an award at the 2010 Effie. The platinum medal went to Vatera’s “betrayed wife” campaign.
OMD Hungary won two gold medals: (Vodafone, Listerine), two silver medals (McDonald's, Pepsi) and one bronze (McDonald's) – reports marketinginfo.hu.
