Efficient NAV
In 2016 the reformed, customer-oriented National Tax and Customs Administration (NAV) put HUF 12,793 billion into the national budget, HUF 31 billion more than originally expected by the government. Secretary of state at the Ministry for National Economy András Tállai told: this year NAV will have an even more difficult task as the budget expects HUF 682 billion more, while tax cuts will leave HUF 660 billion in the pockets of consumers and enterprises. Based on their taxpayer past, NAV classified 544,000 companies and from these 190,000 were deemed to be reliable.
